I strongly believe that artistic expression should be accessible to all people regardless of ability or age. There is a medium out there for everyone, whether it be in painting, fibers, collage, jewelry or pen and ink, it just takes exposure and time to find the right fit.
Seniors Programs
For over 17 years I have had the privilege of instructing people of all abilities. I instruct groups and individuals and can adapt to many needs. I work with Seniors and Neurodiverse Individuals.
Never too old
Now is a great time to learn to paint!
Since 2014, I have been working with people with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.
I began my senior art programs in 2015. At first it was par-time and now It is my full time job! I enjoy my Senior programs and am fortunate to work with these lovely folks.
I am also accustomed to people with physical limitations including visual and hearing impairments, paralysis and arthritis. As an artist, I have the creative flexibility to adapt projects and tools allowing for their full participation.

I have extensive experience working with people with a broad range of disabilities, such as Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism, Traumatic Brain Injuries, and other forms of Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, unpredictable and challenging behaviors.
