About
Hi! I'm Shayna! I am a mom, a wife and an artist. I love sharing my passion for painting & creating with people of all ages and abilities. I have been painting professionally since 1999(ish?)
I received my BFA in Scenic Painting in 2003 from University of North Carolina School of the Arts, School of Design and Production.
Upon graduation, I remained in Winston-Salem, NC to work as an instructor at The Enrichment Center, an arts based day program for adults with developmental disabilities. There I taught Drawing, Painting and Textiles for 7 years.
I currently reside in the suburbs of Philadelphia providing individual and group art instruction to seniors and people with special needs. I also lead craft programs, painting workshops and knitting/crocheting classes. I continue to work as a freelance scenic artist for various commercial shops and scenic companies. And when I can squeeze it in, I work on my own personal artwork.
